The table
A memory-foam overlay and gentle heat, so an hour face-down is genuinely comfortable — not something to endure.
Wichita, Kansas · By appointment
One-on-one bodywork with Brad Thomison — Swedish and deep tissue combined, every session, on a heated memory-foam table by the low light of salt lamps and simulated fire.
The room
No bright overheads, no clock in your eyeline, no small talk required, and quiet music low in the background. The room is arranged so the only thing you have to do is lie still.
A memory-foam overlay and gentle heat, so an hour face-down is genuinely comfortable — not something to endure.
Salt lamps and simulated fire. Low and warm, and the same from the first minute to the last — nothing shifting or blinking.
Therapeutic Swedish and deep tissue, combined in every session, paced to what your body needs that day and informed by careful anatomy.
Sessions & rates
Every appointment is the same full-body work — Swedish and deep tissue combined, tailored at a short consultation. The only choice is how long.
Heated table, low firelight, and quiet music come with every session.
What to expect
We talk through your goals, history, and problem areas, then agree on a plan for the time booked.
Undress to your comfort and settle onto the heated, memory-foam table while I step out of the room.
Focused, anatomically-informed massage at a pressure you confirm and can change as we go.
A few quiet minutes, water, and notes on what to work on before your next visit.
About
Brad is the founder of Light and Sound Spa and a licensed massage therapist practicing in Wichita since 2012. He trained at Body & Soul Massage School and brings a musician’s ear — a bachelor’s in music education from Wichita State University — to the way each session is built.
His work is grounded in careful anatomical study and, when it helps, partnership with a client’s other medical providers. The aim is real, lasting relief rather than a quick reset.
“I want every session to do something — to leave your body measurably better than it walked in.”

Yes. Sessions can target a specific issue with an anatomical focus. Massage supports medical care but doesn’t replace it.
Sound and light therapy were a bigger part of the practice years ago, and the name stuck. That work may come back; for now the focus is straightforward therapeutic massage in a calm room.
The room is lit by salt lamps and simulated fire and stays that way through the session. The music is a low, calm playlist — happy to turn it down or off, or leave the door cracked.

Appreciated but never expected.
The spa entrance is on the east side of the building, facing Piatt Street. Park on the street, or in the lot on the west side and walk around.
